VGP - The Sóc Sơn Temple is situated in Vệ Linh Village, Phù Linh Commune which now belongs to Sóc Sơn, a suburban district of Hà Nội. The temple is dedicated to Dóng God that is Phù Đổng Thiên Vương.
Đống Đa Festival

VGP - On the 5th of every Lunar New Year, while the last firecrackers still resound in Hà Nội, many of its inhabitants rush to its Southeastern part, going past the Ô Chợ Dừa roundabout and striding along Nguyễn Lương Bằng Street down to Đống Đa Hill in order to take part in the Đống Đa Festival, which celebrates a historic victory, over the Qing invaders in 1789.

Saint Gióng Festival nominated for World Cultural Heritage

VGP - Hà Nội’s People’s Committee has proposed the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) to prepare the records for the Saint Gióng Festival to become a World Immaterial Cultural Heritage.
