President Hồ Chí Minh’s portrait is carried past his mausoleum in the maneuver of the 1000th anniversary of Thăng Long-Hà Nội, October 7, 2010 - Photo: VGP The maneuver lasted from 6 PM until around 9.30 PM, attracting the participation of tens of thousands of people.
As planned, the parade will go past President Hồ Chí Minh’s Mausoleum before moving in two directions along Nguyễn Thái Học Street – one towards the Municipal Opera Theater and another to Daewoo Hotel.
